Pensé quejarme. Pero siempre existe la posibilidad de que alguien me argumente que el tamaño de mi jamón es el correcto, y la diferencia está en que tuve la suerte de que me tocara el pan y la hamburguesa mucho más grande que el jamón.

I thought about complaining. But there always exists the possibility of someone arguing that the size of my ham is correct, and the differece is that I was lucky enough to have a piece of bread and a burger much larger than the ham.
