Veo en la tele, otra vez, el recurso gastado de los videoclips: el cantante cantando en la cima de una montaña, con los brazos abiertos, filmado desde un helicóptero en toma circular.

Yo entiendo que cuando hacen eso es una “metáfora” de “quisiera gritar que te amo desde la montaña más alta”, pero ¿no se imaginan que uno luego lo ve en una TV de 14 pulgadas? Ellos se sintieron así (o su videasta) cuando pasaron en auto por la montaña, pero yo no estoy ni cerca de una montaña, así que no me sirve. ¿Por qué seguir insistiendo?

I watch on TV, once again, the overused resource of videoclips: the star singing from the top of a mountain, with his arms wide open, shot from a helicopter in a circular take.

I understand that when they do that it is a “metaphore” of “I wanna shout that I love you from the highest mountain”, but don’t they imagine that later one watches it on a 14” screen? They felt it that way (or their video-man) when they drove in a car by a mountain, but I am not even close to a mountain, so it doesn’t work for me. Why do they keep insisting?
