Pero si se trata de un anciano, creo que sería más coherente que le dieran ayuda, en virtud de que en la ancianidad es más difícil valerse por uno mismo.

But we’re talking about an old person, I think that it would be more logical to give help, by virtue of that in the old age it is more difficult to look after oneself.
