Íbamos en auto por la carretera cuando un cervatillo se atravesó y se nos quedó mirando.
El conductor tocó fuerte la bocina (claxon) y el animalito se espantó.
- Pobre cosita – dijo la señora, sentada junto a él, compadeciéndose de la criatura.
- Qué pelotudo – dijo él.

We were driving along the road when a baby deer started to cross and stopped in the middle of the road to stare at us. The driver hunked the horn and the little animal was startled.
- Poor little thing - said the lady, sitting right by him, feeling sorry for the creature.
- What a dumb ass - he said.
