Me enferma ver a doctores o enfermeros vestidos con su guardapolvo blanco circulando por la calle.

¿Cuál es el verdadero objetivo del guardapolvo? ¿Evitar que los pacientes entren en contacto con microbios que los doctores traen en su ropa desde la calle? ¿O evitar que en su ropa saquen a la calle las pestes que rondan los hospitales?

Sea cual fuere el objetivo principal, si veo uno en guardapolvo blanco, ya pienso que algo malo está haciendo: o está esparciendo una peste intra-hospitalaria por las calles de la ciudad, o le está llevando microbios a algún paciente.

I’m sick of seeing doctors or nurses wearing their white overalls while walking on the street.

Which is the real purpose of the overall? Is it to avoid that the patients come into contact with microbes that doctors bring in their clothes from the street? Or is it to avoid that the epidemics that hang around hospitals are brought out into the street?

Whatever the main purpose is, if I see one of them wearing a white overall, I start thinking that he is doing something bad: either he’s spreading an epidemic outside of the hospital, or he’s taking microbes to some patient.
