Empezamos hablando y riéndonos sobre las vicisitudes de hacerse el “tiro de cola”. Luego, pasamos a hablar de un nuevo corte de pelo-look que se llama “desgaste de puntas”. También reímos mucho.

Mi amiga dijo: “cuando vuelva a Buenos Aires me lo voy a hacer y te mando las fotos”.

Yo me sorprendí: “¿el tiro de cola?”.

“¡No!” – dijo ella – “¿estás loco? Me voy a hacer el ‘desgaste de puntas’ ”.

“¡Ah!” – suspiré.

El otro día me mandó esta foto.

Creo que hubiera sido más halagador para ella hacerse en cambio el “tiro de cola”.

We started talking and laughing about the vicissitudes of having a “bottom strip wax” done. Afterwards, we continued talking about a new haircut-look called ‘ends worn out’. We laughed a lot again.

My friend said: “when I return to B.A. I am going to have it done and will send you the pictures”.

I was startled: “the ‘bottom strip wax’?”

“No!” – she said – “are you nuts? I am speaking about the ‘ends worn out’.

“Ah!” – I sighed.

The other day she sent this pic to me.

I think I would have been more flattering for her to have the “bottom strip wax” done instead.
