El padre le tira la pelota al hijo. El nene agarra unas piedritas del piso y se las comienza a tirar a la pelota. Le divierte descubrir que, según dónde la piedrita pegue, rebota para un lado o para otro.

- Pero no le tirés piedritas a la pelota – le dice el papá -. Pateala, mejor.

- ¿Por qué? – pregunta el niño.

- Porque es más divertido.

El niño lo mira sin comprender. Suelta las piedritas y se dirige a la orilla del lago. El papá queda pateando su pelota.

The father throws the ball to the son. The kid grabs some pebbles from the floor and starts throwing them to the ball. He’s amused to discover that, according to where the pebble hits, it bounces in one direction or the other.

- Don’t throw stones to the ball – the father says -. You’d better kick it.

- Why? – the kid asks.

- Because it’s more fun.

The kid looks at him without understanding. He drops the pebbles and goes to the lake shore. The father stays, kicking the ball.
