Estoy en una conferencia sobre prácticas curatoriales. Presentan a los participantes: uno era poeta, pero luego resultó director de museo. El otro era antropólogo, pero devino crítico de cine. El tercero estudió ingeniería civil, pero finalmente decidió ser poeta. Además de la práctica curatorial, si algo los unía a todos, es que a la legua podía decirse que eran gay. Ahora yo me pregunto: ¿por qué hay tanto travesti arrepentido?

I’m at a lecture about curatorial practice. The ones taking part are introduced: one was a poet, but then turned out to be a museum director. The other was anthropologist, but became movie critic. The third one studied civil engineering, but finally he decided to be a poet. Apart from the curatorial practice, if something join them all together, is that it was patently obvious that they were gay. Now I wonder: why are there so many regretful transvestite.
