We were speaking about the kind of place we’re looking forward to live in.  She described the middle of the woods, with no buildings at all, no shops, only some neighbors but not so near.  I didn’t mind living in a place with high-rise developments, with several restaurants to choose from, some movie theaters, but I didn’t want to see many people or any traffic at all.  Then she told me: I was meant to live in empty downtowns.
