Un amigo nos platica sobre un grupo de franceses que pertenecen a un museo muy importante en Paris. Él está coordinando para ellos un viaje a Cuba durante la Bienal de la Habana. Se queja de que son muy arrogantes, casi insoportables, dice.

“¿Pero qué tan arrogantes son?”, pregunto.

“Tanto que cuando me preguntaron cuál es el hotel donde se quedarán, les expliqué que es el mejor hotel de Cuba. Y uno de ellos me contestó: ¿Crees que lo mejor sea suficiente para nosotros?”

A friend is telling about a group of French people who belong to a very important museum in Paris. He is coordinating a trip to Cuba for them, during the Havana Biennale. He complains that they’re very arrogant, almost unbearable, he says.

“But how arrogant are they?”, I ask.

“So arrogant that when they asked me what hotel they’ll stay in, I explained it was the best hotel in Cuba. And one of them answered: Do you think the best will be enough for us?”
