En virtud de que la gente no se organiza para callar a un señor cuando ronca en un autobús, durante un viaje nocturno, pero todos sufren de igual manera el taladrante sonido en el silencio zumbador de la carretera, yo propongo crear un “seguro de viajero contra ronquidos”.

Es cuestión de identificar quiénes serían los clientes del seguro, y cuánto estarían dispuestos a pagar por ese seguro. Luego hay que hacerle firmar un papel a la gente antes de subir al autobús declarando que “no roncan”. Si no quieren firmar, se les cobra un plus. Si roncan (independientemente de lo que hayan firmado), al bajar del autobús, la gente está invitada a entregar sus denuncias. Luego los abogados entablan una demanda contra el roncador por atentar contra las libertades individuales, los derechos humanos, y por falso testimonio. Los pasajeros damnificados reciben un cheque en su domicilio.

It’s just a question of identify who would be the insurance customers, and how much they will be prepare to pay for that insurance. Then a paper is signed by people before getting on board stating they don’t snore. If they don’t want to sign, an extra pay is charged. If they snore (regardless of what they have signed) while getting off the bus, people is invited to hand in their formal complaints. Then the lawyers bring a lawsuit against the snoring man for attempting on individual rights, human rights, and for perjury. Injured passengers receive a check at their home.
