¿Por qué cobran más barato los boletos de avión para niños en los aviones? Deberían cobrarlos el doble, más aún si no tienen edad suficiente para ocupar asiento. El tema con los niños no es un tema de espacio: los niños protestan, lloran, y sus gritos pueden llenar una cabina completa (incluyendo los asientos de primera clase).Creo es éste un momento ideal para introducir esta reforma: ahora que cobran por la segunda pieza de equipaje, por darte un sandwich, por ver una película… ¿por qué no agregar un cargo significativo por subir al avión con niños?

Why do air companies charge children’s tickets cheaper than adults’ tickets? They should charge them twice as much as adults’, specially if they’re not old enough to take a seat. The issue with children isn’t an issue related with room: children complain, cry, and their shouts can fill a whole cabin (including first class seats). I think this is an ideal moment to introduce this change: now that one is charged for a second piece of luggage, for having a sandwich, for watching a movie… why not to add a meaningful charge for going on board with children?
